Curated by Rudi Fuchs, this exhibition featured five sculptures by Kuijer. Concrete and steel allow him to be free from pictorial influences and breaking away from traditional artistic visions. Instead Kuijer is focusing on the principles of sculpture and the process of creating three-dimensional structures. The parts can adopt different postures: standing, lying down, hanging, leaning or sticking through something, physical relations between parts. According to Kuijer these are the main ingredients for a sculpture.
